Please be reminded our Gift Vouchers are available to purchase online or direct with the restaurant, a lovely present for those who enjoy visiting us or even for those coming for the first time!
Monetary & chef for a day Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of sale, Gourmand and sommelier gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from date of sale.
The vouchers can be purchased in denominations of £25.00, £50.00 and £100.00, the chef for a day, Gourmand and Sommelier packages are individually priced please refer to Gift voucher page. The value of a single voucher cannot be less than £25.00 or more than £1000.00. Please contact us on +44(0)1943 608484 or at email@example.com should you require a greater amount.
Reservations are subject to availability, at our discretion. Reservations for The Box Tree Restaurant can be made by telephone on +44(0)1943 608484 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or direct from this website through opentable. Purchase of a voucher is not guarantee of a reservation.
Gift Vouchers are non transferable, refundable in cash or replaceable if lost, destroyed or stolen.
Vouchers must be presented by the bearer on arrival at the restaurant and must be mentioned when booking.
Information provided is correct at the time of going to print. However content is liable to change thereafter. Any changes will be advised on request.
Gift Vouchers will be dispatched by First Class Recorded Delivery at a charge of £5.00 – postage and packaging per voucher. Royal Mail aim to deliver all 1st Class Mail on the next working day, however during busy periods delivery can take 2-5 working days.
Should you be unhappy with your vouchers, please return your product to us within seven days of receipt and we will provide a full refund of the voucher value. We suggest the item be returned by special or recorded delivery as no refund will be issued for non-receipt of any voucher.
To request a refund, please call +44(0)1943 608484 to report the problem and then post the product to our Head Office at The Box Tree Restaurant Limited, 35 Church Street, Ilkley, West Yorkshire LS29 9DR. Any refund payable will be refunded only to the original credit or debit card used to purchase the voucher and for the full amount stated on the voucher, excluding the postage and packaging.
The Box Tree Restaurant Limited reserves the right to refuse to refund any customer that has not complied with the correct returns procedure, the refund decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into, but this will not affect the customer’s rights under current legislation.
Chef for a day T&C’s
The chef experience is only available on Fridays, start time is 10.00am and finishing approximately 3.00pm (chefs discretion). The cost of the day is £375, this includes a personalised chef’s jacket, spending the lunchtime period working with the kitchen team followed by a la carte dinner for two in the evening. The price does not include any beverages. If you wish to upgrade to the Menu Gourmand there will be an additional supplement of £15 per person.
Please advise us in advance of booking if you are aware that the participant has any dietary requirements, food allergies or health issues which we should be made aware of. Participants must be aged 18 years or over. Participants will receive a short safety briefing at the start of the day, and will be required to sign a notice to indicate their understanding of such safety issues before becoming a chef for a day.
All equipment will be provided on the day. We recommend wearing sensible clothing, including footwear with flat, non-slip soles and covered toes. Long hair must be tied back in the kitchen.
Payment of the price in full [by when/in advance] is required to secure your booking. After a booking has been made, we will endeavour to accommodate any request for a change to your booking which is made up to 21 days before your chosen date, but we cannot guarantee that any alternative requirements will be met. Similarly, we reserve the right to change arrangements where necessary. If you have to cancel your booking, or we are unable to agree suitable alternative arrangements, we reserve the right to make a deduction from any refund of the price to offset any costs we have incurred.
